The Columbia University Digestive and Liver Diseases Research Center (CU-DLDRC) promotes collaborative and multidisciplinary research in digestive and liver diseases, integrating expertise in clinical and basic gastroenterology and hepatology with state-of-the-art computational bioinformatics.

We support collaboration among different specialties and backgrounds and promote innovative and creative research approaches. We unite investigators with interests in digestive, liver, and pancreatic physiology and disease in the exploration of creative experimental approaches.

Administrative Core

The Administrative and Biostatistics Core (AC) will support the effective governance of the Center by reviewing operations regularly and overseeing the daily functions of all the Cores and Programs; educational activities; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the CU-DLDRC; as well as the promotion of new investigators.

  • The AC will ensure state-of-the-art and widely used digestive-focused Core services. CU-DLDRC members are expected to fill out regular surveys and provide feedback on core services.
  • The AC seeks to promote DEI and new investigators in the CU-DLDRC by reviewing and promoting their inclusion in enrichment program activities such as CU-DLDRC seminars and in the P/F program activities.
  • The AC will review membership and productivity in the CU-DLDRC by established criteria. CU-DLDRC members are expected to fill out regular surveys on grants and publications. CU-DLDRC members must acknowledge the use of the CU-DLDRC and its cores in publications.
  • The AC will encourage collaborations and educational activites with other DDRCCs.

Please contact AC directors Robert Schwabe, Timothy Wang and Rebecca Haeusler or CU-DLDRC administrator Seetha Srinivasan if you are interested in joining the CU-DLDRC or for additional suggestions.
